Very welcoming host who met us on arrival. The host also helped me when I forgot an item in the apartment and he took the trouble to send it to Tirane for me as I had left when I realised I had forgotten it. The apartment itself is comfortable and clean. Parking is very easy on the road just outside the apartment, and there are supermarkets, pharmacy, bakery and restaurants close by.
There is quite an uphill climb (15-20 mins all uphill) to get to the centre of Gjirokaster. In the summer heat and / or if you have kids you might want to consider driving up and parking nearer to the castle.

Contrairement à ce qui est indiqué dans l'annonce, il n'y a pas de parking ! Le propriétaire nous a dit de nous parquer dans la rue, le soir, nous avons entendu beaucoup de bruit dans la rue, nous sommes sortis et avons constaté que nous avions une amende ! Nous avons contacté le loueur qui nous a répondu vous n'avez qu'à trouver une place gratuite ! Il a payé l'amende mais n'a été aucune aide pour trouver une nouvelle place de parking.
