I wish we had a key to the property

very quiet and secluded

The host was not present. After getting a phone number from a neighbour, we contacted them and were told we could not access the property as Booking.com had not notified them of our booking. With darkness falling we had to rush to the nearest hotel. The listing also failed to mention the difficult access road — it is narrow, rocky, very steep and winding. I barely made it and would recommend a 4x4 only.
