Fabulous one bedroom cottage in a handy location for the town of Barnoldswick.

Everything about this property had exceeded our expectations, recently renovated to a high standard with all facilities in good order. A quiet location, with town a short walk away. We have family in the town and would definitely use this property again and would highly recommend it. A great base to visit God's own country.

The cottage was perfect - a very clean and comfortable bolt hole - for a single traveller like me (or a couple) and the location couldn't have been better. It is set on a cobbled lane (Long Field Lane) that leads to the famous Forty Steps path to the old Bancroft Steam Mill, now a wonderful museum. The other end of the cobbled path leads to the Grey Hound pub, where the workers would go for refreshment! Just three minutes walk from the Hideaway Cottage, this old, traditional pub still sells good Lancs food and real ales. Definitely worth a visit.
