Don't be fooled by Mustang Island Beach Club, unit 201 (MIBC201)

The decorations and size of the place were nice. We walked in, and it looked almost like the pictures, but then checked into another place for half the price in a better location.

The location was not the address I was given. We arrived in a different community with easy access to the boardwalk and parking. When we didn't see unit 201, we had to call to be given the correct address further from everything we expected to be close to. Once we got to the correct address, the parking garage and spot were full of ants. Going up the stairs to the second floor felt like we'd fall through with our suitcases (I'm 120lb with a 30lb suitcase). There was a wasp nest on our balcony, so we barely stepped out on it and had to go back inside. There was a dead roach on the floor in one of the bedrooms, and what looked like remnants of smashed ones on a couple walls. The pool is the size of two average hot tubs put together, so don't let the wide angled pictures fool you. There was no boardwalk in sight. We were there 15 minutes, and when we got back in our car, there were ants already on the steering wheel and passenger door. I sent a request to cancel and to be partially refunded for being dooped into this place but was charged the full $800. Stay away from Mustang Island Beach Club, unit 201 (MIBC201).

The room size was perfect for my family.

The noise from the oncoming traffic, the entire room is a few hundred feet’s from it. And the blackouts that lasted up to 4 hours the two nights we stayed.

Great place to stay near the beach.

An excellent holiday home to stay in for the weekend. Equipped with kitchen utensils and the living room is very comfortable, as well as the 2 bedrooms and a balcony overlooking the road. There is a road to get to the beach and it has a pool, I recommend it.

Some kitchen tools was a little dirty, need to move with cars to commute to any restaurants.
