Very spacious apartment and very close to Porta San Pietro / the walled entrance to Lucca. Even though it was paid parking, the parking lot was very close (though across a busy street) to the apartment. Lovely that the host provided snacks and a bottle of Prosecco, as well as water, for us.
There were two flights of stairs to the apartment and no lift - I do not remember seeing that in the description, and traveling with an aunt who had recently had knee surgery made this a little more challenging to navigate.
The coffee pod machine was very basic and did not make good coffee. Also, only 2 pods were provided for two people for two nights.
There wasn't much of a view from the apartment - just looking at the wall of Lucca. So I would not call this a romantic spot. But it was a functional, easy-access spot.
The manual for how to run the house was tucked away, and I didn't know where to find it, so I had to ask the host. I also had to ask the host about the controls for the AC, as all but one of the controls had run out of charge.

Beautifully decorated apartment with very comfortable beds. Located just outside of the wall, so it was an easy walk across the road to access the old town. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco, bottled water, snacks and milk on arrival. Loved our stay!
Be aware of using too many appliances at once or the electricity safety switch will flip. It was an easy fix though.
