Situated right in the centre of castleton, decent size and had everything you would need for a short stay. I would happily recommend and return . The car park is 3 or 4 minutes away this was fine for us but may be an issue for some with mobility issues.

All main areas , bathroom, kitchen , bedding etc were clean , however some of the communal areas could do with a good sweep / dust. However I appreciate this is a country cottage and it did not adversely effect our stay.

The house has a quiet environment, complete facilities, and neat arrangement.

But the parking exit is a very narrow steep slope, making it very difficult to enter and exit, and cars are easily scratched and damaged. It is not recommended for people who do not have good driving skills and need to park to stay here.

Location was really good. Within close proximity to village shops. Also stone throw from Peak Cavern. Parking was also nearby.

Bed mattresses need replacing, they weren’t the most comfortable.
