Elterwater is a very pretty village at the gateway into Langdale, and also where our office is located.  Home to our favourite local pub the Brittania Inn, and also the wonderful cocktail bar Lanty Slee which is a quick walk out of Elterwater towards Red Bank, located in the old Wayside Pulpit chapel.  Over the bridge towards Colwith is The Eltermere Inn Country Hotel, which has a wonderful bar and restaurant - something to treat yourselves to during your stay. Langdale and Little Langdale is where all the best lumpy stuff is, so park your car up and walk from the village to enjoy some of the best walking in the Lake District.
