About this house rental
The house is ideal for a family of 2 adults and 2 children and can occasionally accommodate 2 additional adults (extra bed). We do not accept pets. The whole house is non-smoking.
Our house is a single-storey house of 135 m2. It has a large, pleasant, fully walled garden, with outdoor terrace and barbecue.
It is a house from the 60s that we have renovated. It is a house in our image, simple and unfussy, but functional and pleasant to live in. It has been designed so that adults and children feel good and to have a good time with family or friends.
The house is made up of the following rooms:
- A living space: living room, dining room, kitchen opening onto a terrace
- A veranda opening onto a large terrace with pergola
- A master suite with its bathroom. Large King Size bed of 180x200.
- Two children's bedrooms with single beds 90x190
- Another bathroom with bathtub
- A desk with a two-seater sofa bed. A removable partition allows you to close the space if necessary.
- Two toilets
- A laundry room
The house is located in a quiet residential area. You can park on the street in front of the house.
The beach is 800m away, you will find huts where you can have a drink or eat oysters facing the ocean. There are also many trails that offer beautiful walks or bike rides.
For swimming, the large beach of Châtelaillon is only 10 minutes away by car. And for heavenly scenery and a total change of scenery, the Ile de Ré is 20 minutes away.
In our area, you will find all amenities within walking distance: bakery, butcher, wine shop, pharmacy, mini-market... There is also a market every week where it is possible to buy fruit, vegetables, fish, cheese, etc.
If you want to go shopping or go out, the historic centre of La Rochelle is 5km away, with its arcades and cobbled streets. Here you will find good restaurants and cafes to have a drink in front of the old port.
If you want to discover the region, you are ideally located. From 25 to 55 minutes by car, you have: Rochefort, Ile de Ré, Ile d'Oléron, Ile d'Aix, Fort Boyard, Ile Madame, Royan, Côte sauvage... For children: La Palmyre Zoo (largest in Europe), La Rochelle Aquarium and various activities: sailing, tree climbing, horse riding...
At 1h30, you have the Puy du Fou park, the Futuroscope, the monkey valley, etc.
