We really appreciated the peaceful and secluded location of this hut. Being completely surrounded by woods and nature, with no internet connection, made it a very quiet and relaxing experience. The place is also animal-friendly, which we appreciated, and the host was responsive to our messages and phone calls.
However, considering the price we paid, we expected a much better level of comfort, cleanliness, and attention to detail.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that made the stay feel overpriced. The gasket around the entrance door was hanging loose, all the towels provided were very old, and the kitchen was missing some essential amenities (oil, towels, coffee,…). This was particularly inconvenient given that there are no supermarkets in the area. There were also no clear instructions on how to use the stove or how to make and safely manage the fire, which would have been especially useful in a hut in the woods.
The cushions on the benches and chairs were noticeably dirty, and not all the beds had been prepared. We needed to use the extra room for one of our guests, and while we understand that the host might think that not every room may be used by every guest, when you pay for the entire hut, you reasonably expect the whole property to be properly prepared and available for use (and we needed it).
Another thing we would strongly recommend is providing a book or leaflet with information about the surrounding area and walking paths. Since there is no internet at all, having some basic local information available would make a big difference and would fit very well with the nature of the experience.

The location was great though a little difficult for our car - unpaved road, steep uphill. There was no service (data nor phone) which was a plus for us.
The cabin is very cute and cozy.
The owner communicated well and there were no issues.
The cabin could've been cleaner, it was a bit messy when we arrived.
Some instructions were in Slovenian only - we could not translate them until we got back in town as there was no reception.
