The views and the interior space
Kiki and her mom were lovely
The shower design leads to a wet room situation whereby mosquitos flourish !!

Spacious and well-decorated rooms. Excellent views over Livadi Bay. Well equipped kitchenette. Free parking and easy access to the numerous restaurants in Livadi. The host is very accommodating and assisted us with every need
People with mobility issues might struggle with the steps. The 10’ walk back from Livadi requires some steep paths and steps. A few signs of wear in the room, but nothing major

A lovely modern apartment. Fabulous views of the bay from a balcony with sunbeds, and table and chairs.
Beds and pillows very comfortable. Good kitchen with coffee machine.
Mosquito screens on all windows and doors (though they didn't all work)
Everyone very friendly and helpful.
Lift to and from the port.
Somewhere to store luggage once you've checked out.
Family grocery shop delivers to your door.
Nothing significant. .
The steps into the village are quite rough and slippery at the top but walking down on the road is really easy and its not busy..
A non-slip mat for shower would be a bonus.

The apartment was very pretty. It was obvious that a lot of thought had gone into the design of it.
The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and modern.
The location is not an easy walking distance from the port, but is doable after sundown.
There were some minor issues with the apartment and 2 major deal breakers for me at least.
- The apartment we stayed in (Tholos) completely lacks privacy. Every window (bedrooms) and even the main entrance is overlooking the path of other apartments, meaning that anyone could pass from it seeing you chilling on your bed. Our bathroom window overlooked another apartment’s entrance and vice versa, when we were sitting outside in our “private” dining area, we could see the next apartment’s couple having a shower (see photo). One time, as I was coming down to our apartment, I had to pass right next to a balcony of another apartment, whose occupants were sitting outside naked.
- The curtains used are not the black-out ones, therefore letting plenty of light in the bedrooms from the very early hours (see picture).
When I addressed the issues with the manager/owner, I got a very unprofessional response. At first, they denied the lack of privacy, but right after a bit, they told me that if I wanted more privacy, I should have told them beforehand (before arrival), in order to give us a more private room. Thus, admitting that the one we got was not private. I firmly believe there should have been a disclaimer on their listing, that the room completely lacks privacy, otherwise it is misleading. They suggested that we should have our curtains closed at all times if we need privacy and they also suggested that it was the other’s couple “fault” that they were having a shower with their window open.
Regarding the total blackout curtains, they told us that they have slept in the rooms themselves and that they keep the light out. I don’t think that this is a subjective matter, that’s why I’m attaching a photo in order to show the light in the room with the curtains closed.
