Exquisite spot

Most of the things! It’s easy to get to bus/taxi from a train station. The house we stayed at is delicately furnished and designed. Because of our son (14) we have chosen a tatami to sleep on. Private bath in a onzen style. Lounge with its generous selection of complimentary alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, all with local pedigree. The amazing garden around the house and of course the food! Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with concentration on every detail. A memorable desert.

That we stayed two days only (not their fault)

High quality accommodation with outstanding service

Beautiful rooms and grounds, with top quality service. Generous range of complimentary drinks in the lovely guest lounge.

Not a great location for easy access to Onomichi town and the prices for dining in the hotel itself are pretty steep.

A foodies paradise

Absolutely unique. A traditional style with very modern features. The best meals we have had as yet in Japan. The staff were top class.

Merci pour tout ! J’ai passé un anniversaire exceptionnel. L’accueil est incroyable et toujours au petit soin, le cadre est magnifique et le dîner digne d’un étoilé. Un merci spécial à toute l’équipe.
