Timaru was a beautifully presented bungalow. The views from the garden of Lamphey Bishops Palace were an unexpected and delightful addition to the location. We enjoyed strolling over to visit this landmark one evening. The property was surprisingly large and well stocked in the kitchen for making food in the evenings and the garden was lovely. Plenty of parking as we had a couple of cars with us. The village is lovely. Nice pub and a petrol station selling essentials within walking distance of the cottage.
There was no instructions for rubbish collection and only one bin in the kitchen so it wasn't clear how the local recycling worked. I whatsapp messaged Sykes Cottages but did not get an answer. So just washed all recycling and left it on the kitchen surface because I didn't want it going to landfill. Instructions for the next guests would be useful. The toilet was separate from the bathroom which was great on the one hand, but it did not contain a sink so we had to use the toilet then leave the room to go wash hands in the bathroom, which wasn't so great!

great location, easy to find, really clean, very spacious, comfy and warm, lots of utilities and kitchen kit, nice outdoor space.

Location and property were perfect for our visit.
Quality and cleanliness of property was excellent.
Only minor issue was pedal bin in kitchen is broken and needs replacing.
Would definitely stay here again.
