I’ll start by mentioning that we paid 2.4k EUR for 6 adults for 8 nights, end of August - start of September, which led us to expect a great experience.
The property features a nice garden and vast open space, which is great. The garden featured olive trees, lime and lemon trees, which were great, although the rest of it was kindof dried up and not maintained.
There is a nice shaded area for outdoor family dining which we appreciated, alongside the video projector provided by the property.
The shared kitchen is also nicely laid out, although not great in glasses and crockery. 2 of the 3 bedrooms are nicely laid out, and 1 bathroom of the 3 is of decent size.
The barbecue facilities were good, and the pool itself was good, although not as big as the pictures showed it.
The host, Spyros, responds swiftly and solves problems as they are presented, we had a good experience.
The main critical problem was that 1 of the bedrooms is not suitable for 2 adults, maybe for 2 pre-teen kids. The pictures and description should mention this, as it had to host 2x1.9m men. The bathroom in that room is a joke, not even a mirror fits. (Pictures attached)
The description features a washer and drier, but that is actually a paid external service.
2 room doors would not stay closed unless locked. We had to use cardboard to keep them closed without locking them. An intervention with a belt sander was required on one of the doors, which dis not close at all. (Pictures attached)
The smell in the bathrooms was really bad especially in the evenings.
The pool was not cleaned shortly before we arrived, as we deduced by the lizard, insect and variety of leaves and sand inside. It was only cleaned once during our 9 days stay.
The walls and general maintenance of the place was vastly overlooked, with holes in the walls, leaky showers, dried garden and dirty walls.
In conclusion, the pictures are misleading, and some maintenance is necessary to make the place look like the pictures again.
