The tiny house is beautiful. Set in some stunning scenery, it is quiet and tucked away on a hillside overlooking the lake. We were met by Domenika who was delightful. The house was comfortable and had everything needed for an overnight or longer stay. We were greeted by the owner the following morning, who was also lovely. The house offers some discounts on places in the area, like Vök baths, which would have been useful to know prior as we had already visited the baths on the way in!
Be aware that the stairs are very steep and little more than a ladder, and the head height of the sleeping platform is low. It is a proper 'tiny house'!

We had an amazing stay at Hengifosslodge. The tiny house was beautiful, cozy and surrounded by incredible views in such a lovely and peaceful area. Isabelle was also incredibly friendly and gave us some really great tips for exploring the region, which we really appreciated. Definitely one of those places we would happily stay at again.

Really beautiful & very well equipped tiny house with amazing lake views. You’ll find the quite beauty of Iceland in this place. The owners are very friendly & caring, making sure you’ll have everything you need for a pleasant vacation.

Beautiful view, peaceful, friendly staff, clean ❤️
Not that I didn’t like it but hence the name tiny houses were a bit narrow to get to bed 😊 which were by the way very comfortable.
