I stayed at Jaime’s apartment for three nights with two friends after completing seven days of the Camino del Norte and arriving in Galicia. What a great welcome — we arrived on Friday afternoon to find three beers waiting for us in the fridge! A lovely touch and very much appreciated after a long day of walking.
The apartment had everything we needed and quickly became our home for the weekend. We particularly enjoyed the views over the Ría, between Asturias and Galicia, and the location made it very easy to get out and explore the town, with plenty of places nearby for food and drinks.
The apartment is in a quiet part of town, and if it hadn’t been for the local fiestas taking place during our stay, I doubt we would have noticed any noise at all.
There are lots of good places to eat locally, and the apartment is also just a short walk from the coastal path, which takes you towards the lighthouse and onwards along the cliffs to the spectacular As Catedrais beach — undoubtedly the highlight of our visit. If you enjoy hiking or trail running, as I do, the route from the apartment to As Catedrais is around 17 km.
We’ll be continuing our Camino del Norte journey from Ribadeo next year, and with a bit of luck, we’ll be able to book Jaime’s apartment again.

Maybe an electric kettle would be a great addition..

Un piso precioso, muy limpio y camas muy cómodas! Tiene terraza con bonitas vistas, y patio interior perfecto para comer/cenar. Se puede aparcar en la misma puerta sin problema.
El propietario muy agradable, amable y de muy rápida respuesta.

La ubicación, el piso está reformado, las vistas son fabulosas y es cómodo.
En el piso de arriba vive una familia que nos ha hecho la estancia muy desagradable, arrastrando todos los muebles y con un niño dando gritos a cualquier hora sin ningún tipo de educación (Tuvimos que utilizar tapones para dormir desde la mitad de las vacaciones). En la parte trasera no hemos podido utilizar la terraza tan bonita porque hay un vecino que linda y tiene un perro que los primeros días ladraba desde las 7 de la mañana despertándonos y además hace sus necesidades en el patio por lo que venían todos los olores. También hemos encontrado al gato del vecino encima de la mesa varias veces. Ha sido muy desagradable.
