VISTA del MAR

Good location with lovely views down to the old town and the sea. Nice comfortable rooms with small bathroom and little private balcony with sea view. After one night the owner very kindly upgraded us to a larger room with a spare bed in a little side room, an ante chamber for our bags and a tv with Netflix which was useful for a wet afternoon. Breakfast was a huge choice and very plentiful, high quality with fresh blueberries, redcurrants, figs, large variety of breads, cheeses, charcuterie, muesli yoghurts and jams. Coffee with hot frothy milk was appreciated as well as fresh juices. Cakes too! There was a little garden we enjoyed with views out to sea. Parking was very handy.

The climb up the hill was a little arduous but to be expected. Took less than 10 mins.

The views from Vista del Mar don't disappoint. Natasha our host was lovely, and took the time to explain this beautiful town and get to know her guests. Having private parking on the premises was a bonus and worth the €15/day. We were able to walk to everything, but understand it's a tight maze like city. Morning breakfast and music were perfect and the variety on the table was more than enough. "Arrive as guests, leave as friends" was the mantra and I believe that was achieved.

Vista del Mar has a beautiful view over Piran and we loved having breakfast on the terrace and spotting Venice in the distance. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, breakfast was delicious and the on-site parking was good value and very useful. About a 10 minute walk into the centre of Piran, this is a peaceful and tranquil place to stay, we’d definitely return.

Der herzliche Empfang unserer Gastgeberin die uns gleich mit vielen Informationen über Piran und Umgebung versorgt hat. Das reichhaltige, mit Liebe gemachte Frühstück hat uns sehr gefallen. Natürlich nicht zu vergessen die unbeschreibliche und unbezahlbare Lage mit Blick auf Piran und die Adria. Das Zimmer mit Bad und kleinem Balkon war sehr schön und sehr sauber.
