The location is great, with shops and places to eat within a 10–15-minute walk. There is also a local market nearby with plenty of choice. The area is quiet and peaceful, and the people in the town are lovely.
Communication with the host was always excellent — she was friendly, helpful and very responsive throughout our stay.
The swimming pool was described as heated, but unfortunately it wasn’t heated during our stay. We stayed in the first week of September, when the weather was still around 25°C, but the pool water was quite cold, so we didn’t really get to use it. The pool itself is a good size and not too deep.
Also, the tide was in throughout much of our stay, so if you enjoy swimming in the sea, you need to drive around 30 minutes to find a more suitable beach. The water at the nearer beaches was not particularly clear due to the tide.
