This is a lovely cottage in a brilliant location - what a privilege to overlook the castle! It’s beautiful inside with heaps of character AND its comfortable. It really was the ideal place and with good weather when we arrived, we were able to use the outdoor space too. I highly recommend it for a stay in Pembroke.
Nothing. It was great. Traffic noise in the front bedroom might be loud for some people but I always have earplugs, so it wasn’t an issue!

It is a very quaint property dating back to 1300 with metre thick walls and stairs everywhere, that has been beautifully restored, with the bathroom and kitchen in particular beautifully done. There has been such an eye to detail to ensure lots of storage space and light, and the roof-level patio with a view out to the back of the property made it well worthwhile carrying the breakfast things up the stone steps ( a tray would have been helpful 😊). We very much appreciated the filter coffee machine.
There were only three of us, which was fine. A larger party might find the one toilet in the bathroom a bit tight. My husband (1.92 metres tall) struggled a bit with the low ceilings.
