Absolutely stunning property with the most amazing views in Borgamo.
It’s hundreds of years old so I understand the thought of keeping the heritage but in this day and age, some ac, at least in the bedroom, would have been nice. It was hot!

There are only 4 guest rooms on the top floor of this real palace. The owner (whose family has owned this building since the 1800’s) has put a lot of work and love into renovating and remodeling her home. If you get the chance to see the residential areas of the palace, don’t miss it. They are truly grand.
Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, breakfast is great, and the location - close to the pedestrian zone and the Funicular but away from the crowds - is very convenient.
We stayed here during an unusual heatwave. Due to historical preservation rules, there are no external AC units allowed in the area. So there was no cooling, except for opening the windows during the night. Which allowed the noise from local traffic and the airport in and made for some less than restful nights.
Nobody’s fault, but you might think twice about staying here longer during the hottest summer months.
