I have initially booked this hotel for only 1 night, and ended up staying for 2 weeks so far... After staying in all sorts of (overpriced) hotels from hell here in Pakistan, Skardu Saraye has been a very nice change of environment. The staff is super nice and professional; and it's easy to communicate with them in English. The owners are very nice, and have treated me like a family member. They have been helping me with all sorts of things during my stay. One of the owners went on a vlogging trip to the mountains with me, and I even went to a family wedding of the owners! The wifi works, electricity backup works reliably during outages, and the water in the shower is hot. The food they cook at the hotel is pretty good. Staff is available to help 24/7. If you stay here, they will take good care of you, and give you an authentic travel experience. In my 1.5 month travels in Pakistan, it has been extremely hard to find a hotel where everything works as advertised, so I'm extra appreciative of Skardu Saraye actually delivering the services and quality they're advertising! Thanks guys! š

My stay at Skardu Saraye was truly special, and I'm so grateful to the brothers and the family who made me feel soo welcomed.
My time at Skardu was truly a beautiful experience. Although this is my first Asia trip, from the moment I arrived, they made me feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely looked after.
The brothers were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful, and the warmth of the whole family made the accommodation feel more like a home than just a place to stay. Thank you for giving me such a lovely and memorable stay, for your hospitality, and for making my trip such a positive experience. I will always remember the kindness and welcome I received at Skardu Saraye.
