About this house rental

Situated in Hitchcock, this charming house for $304 per night is a great option for your next trip. Welcome to Salty Dog - where the rooms are light, airy and roomy and just waiting for you to come and enjoy your trip to Galveston where you are so close to the beach if you were any closer you'd have to arrive by boat! 3 bedrooms (king bed in master, two sets of bunks - twin over twin bunk beds and third room has twin over double bunks plus twin bed & trundle, AND there is a sleeper sofa in the living room! So many choices! A full suite of full sized appliances in the kitchen, and a staked washer/dryer plus dining area with nice table for eating, a rowdy game of go-fish, or working a puzzle. But the best part - of course - is that you are literally steps to the beach! You won't get closer and you won't be happier. $75 per dog fee per approved dog (we must approve in advance, ther are size and breed restrictions, and a maximum of 2 dogs permitted during any stay. My Galveston Getaway provides starter supplies of toiletries, paper products, dish cleaning options and coffee to get our guests started and situated before making their shopping lists and determining which shopping option works best for their group. These supplies are not intended to last your entire group the duration of your stay - but to get started! We also provide one bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth for each guest that the unit sleeps, along with 2 dish towels. Should you wish to have additional housekeeping services during your stay or to have linen swaps during your stay, these can be arranged with advance notice upon request at an additional cost. We provide driving directions and self check in instructions. We are a text, call or phone call away - but in general we leave our guests alone to enjoy their Galveston Getaway.

The Salty Dog has the very best location for ease to the beach! The home has 'lived hard', but is the cleanest beach home we have ever rented...and we have rented many! Salty Dog is decorated nicely, very comfortable and the beach is truly right out the door! We will be returning to Salty Dog for sure!
