Clean facilities, very helpful staff, wifi was good, and they have an elevator. Shower was decent.

This is a fantastic property. We rented a family room, which is a couple of rooms connected through a small central common hall. Both rooms had comfortable beds and a very good size. The pool & spa aspect of this property is what sets it apart. We booked two different spaces, at no additional cost. On the night of our arrival, at 9:30pm and after a lot of walking, we booked a private area with a small pool and a sauna. It was heaven. The next day we booked the area of the larger pool. We liked better the first experience, but the second was also good. Excellent and varied breakfast. But like anywhere else in Uzbekistan, the staff at the reception made our stay so much better. What a great service. They gave us water, tea, and coffee in copious amounts. They made sure we knew where we were going and what to do in the city. They doubled check that our taxi was taking us to the right train station as we departed to Bukhara.
Everything was great. I can see how some tourists would prefer a hotel closer to Tashkent City Park, but keep in mind that the pool & spa factor make of this property a great value and that the Tashkent metro system makes very easy to get anywhere fast, so the exact location does not matter as much. It's very close to the main bazaar.

Hotel Marwa impressed us from the start. The hotel staff was friendly and highly professional, the decor elegant and pleasing. Our room was lovely with a wall almost completely made of windows that opened to french balconies. The air conditioning was strong. The daily private hour that you could book at the pool/spa was a wonderful bonus! The breakfast buffet was enjoyable as well. We were sorry we were only staying in Tashkent one night!
