DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE
Liked how central it was
But nothing else … A massive complaint will be getting made!
Basically the day before i was due to fly out , just me and my 3 year old son, the host cancelled due to a problem with the bathroom and told me to make a request for a free cancellation which I done
Then she came back and said that they sorted the issue and we were still ok to come , not to book again because i would be paying twice! (Its the host who needs to approve or deny the request for cancellation)
So that was fine me and my son went out arrived late thursday night and immediately felt uneasy once entering the building, we were the top floor up and it was just so eeery
Friday morning i started receiving cheeky messages from the host about money telling me her husband was coming to collect , but i was questioning what money as i had already paid at the time of booking and didnt get a refund obviously!
The messages carried on to saturday, i had to keep me and my son out of the apartment all day as i felt very threatened with the messages demanding money but with no explanation to why!!!
Then at 10:30 pm saturday night me and my son were in bed and the apartment door opened which terrified us both, they started POUNDING our bedroom door which i thankfully had locked , and left the key in the door!!
The banging stopped and we could just hear the foot prints of 2 people then they tried to get into our bedroom, not once did they announce themselves , just banging the door and shouting in polish, once i opened the door after sitting terrified for what felt like ages, i opened the door asking who they were and all i was met with was screaming “give me cash give me your money “
Now i had my 3 year old boy in bed terrified of what was happening, the language barrier was bad and we were trying to communicate through google translate, I was willing to pay again but only had 200 polish on me and said i can transfer more or go to the bank but they refused this and phoned the
Everything!! (Continued on)
They phoned police to give them my details then said if i didnt pay i had to leave , through google translate!! So i already had our bags packed thankfully as we were due to leave the next morning! But when i went to leave the host ran to the door locked it and stood infront again screaming in polsig demanding money off me, i took some money out my purse and threw it one way , and tried to run out the door but she grabbed me and i had to push her off, unlock 2 doors and sprint down the million stairs with my son and all our bags!!! We were both so traumatised from this stay!!
The bathroom was filthy, and the bedroom, you could see visible dirt everywhere!!!
The sink was hanging off the wall and the toilet seat wasnt attatched to anything , horrible place but even more horrible hosts

Not good
Location
Location perfect, apartment nothing like portrayed. No proper beds, all sofa beds and very hard. Bad smell in bathroom. Very old and not maintained, floorboards loose and noisy.Too many stairs, not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties and not suitable for wheelchair users or people with children's buggies.
