I had the best solo vacation at OliveOyl.
Appartment
Cozy with magnificent terrace. Terrace is in shade until 13:00 (August) and one can enjoy breakfast and brunch there. In the evening you have an amazing view on the city center. Apartment has two fully functional A/C and a water heater. It was clean and had all amenities and utensils for cooking, including coffee machine. It also had a hair dryer and a beach umbrella (super needed!!!)
Location
Amazing. One minute away two grocery shops and one drugstore. You can go there in your pijamas. 5 min away bus stop for the buses to the Poetto beach, main station and city center. Everything reachable within 15-20 minutes.
One could also simply walk to the city center (15-20 minutes depending what part of the center).
Close by a lot of food places (pizzerias, kebab, Chinese).
Apartment is easy to reach from the airport (train to the main station and then a bus, check the Google maps), no need for a taxi. Public transport costs 1.30€ per bus and 1.30€ for train, Uber showed me 40€!

Olivia is an amazing hostess, she speaks English and it was super easy to communicate with her. I texted with her throughout my stay about some tips what to do and where to shop. She always responded quickly.
I wholeheartedly recommend staying in this apartment!

The house remained very cool, there was air conditioning in both rooms. It’s in great walking distance to the centre of town and only a 4 min walk to the bus stop that goes to the beach. The balcony is lovely and so spacious and receives great sunlight in the morning

L'appartement très agréable est bien équipé. L'accueil et l'attention de notre hôtesse durant le sejour. la terrasse avec l'horizon sur les remparts de la vieille ville ainsi que l'accès aisé au centre sans voiture.
Juste les oreillers étrangement durs
