Very comfortable house - that meet all our needs and was very dog friendly. Great location - within easy reach of lots of lovely beaches. The host gave us lots of dog friendly suggestions - we had a lovely meal at the Delaval Arms!

We stayed here for 2 weeks with our 4 young children . The house has everything you could need, the kitchen is well stocked with every pot/pan/utensil you'd have at home. As a family with a baby there were stair gates, highchair and a cot and they'd even provided a babies hooded towel, a small thing that shows they'd thought of everyone. The washing machine and tumble dryer make a longer stay easier so we could clean beach clothes. The hosts were easily contactable and very friendly and offered lots of suggestion for days out. The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk to the coast and a great playground with a co-op near by too. Ridley Park is a short walk away too which has two playgrounds and a splash park. It is a great central location we did lots of day trips to Whitley bay, Tynemouth, South Sheilds, Alnwick gardens, Diggerland, Beamish museum and Newcastle, it really is a great location to visit lots of places.
Honestly can't think of anything. It was a great location and a lovely house.

The property was warm and cosy , it was well decorated and the welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and bread ( to name a few things was greatly appreciated) . The location was excellent and perfect for walking the dogs which we could take with us . Communication with Gary ( owner) was timely and always helpful. We spent two nights at the house and overall had a great time.
