In walking distance of every thing and an affordable price
The hallway lighting didn’t come on in my section so if felt like being in a scary movie and I had to use my phone light to see

The en-suite room was clean and functional, with minimalist furnishings and good heating. It served its purpose very well, as I booked it for three nights with the intention of spending most of my time sightseeing and exploring Edinburgh. The location was very convenient, just a 10–15-minute walk from the centre of the Old Town. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would be happy to stay here again. Thanks

Clean and comfortable, quiet, near shops and buses
Kind of cumbersome structure...lots of useless doors to go through. And my friend's key card would not open her bedroom door on the second day we spent the whole night trying to get some help. She had medicines inside to take......finally at 4am security arrived and they wanted to be payd!! No way. It was a faulty keycard. Not our responsibility.......Conclusion: on weekends and at night, nobody is around to solve problems...you are stuck!

Pros: it's from walking distance, about 20 minutes,from Waverly station and city centre, with bus and tram on the main street outside the property. There's a small food shop just in front of the apartment building. Self check in and check out. The host is very responsive and nice to deal with, through messages in the app.
The room is very small, and bare. No table lamp, it's well lit from two chandelier, but it seems very basic.
You got a bed, small wardrobe, a chair and a desk.
Pillows were extremely uncomfortable, I didn't even used them, so take your own if you can.
If you planning to stay out all day it's ok, if you just need a place to crush. There's a a small gym and tv room on the ground floor, but I didn't use them, although I give a look and they seems good to gather with friends, if you travel in a large group.
Overall it's fair.
