While the place is an old motel the owners have done a great job of updating the inside with high end sink bowls and ceramic showers. The continental breakfast always included biscuits and gravy as well as waffles and other options. The staff went out of their way to welcome us and answer any questions.

Overall, a clean, comfortable room when I needed a place to sleep on a long road trip.
The staff checking-in and checking-out were super friendly.
Breakfast was typical for most hotels: Cereals, pre-cooked sausage patties, muffins & bagels, and the obligatory waffle maker.
My only complaint was that the A/C unit was a loud: It was a room-specific unit built into the wall rather than a central air system, so it would sometimes wake me when it kicked on in the middle of the night; but in my experience, this is pretty common in all but the largest hotels.
