Great remote place for a quiet getaway in the mountains and trekking in the woods with friendly staff and beautiful views. Lots of treks to explore while hiking, the path leading to Shivapuri national park starts rights outside the premises of the farm. We went hiking everyday, and asked the staff for a safari + hike to the nearest temples about an hour drive off-road one day (probably need to mention the uphill path from the temple back to the jeep was rather tough and long).
The food was good, we enjoyed the Nepali cuisine, and the cook is such a sweet person.
The cottage is equipped with heated mattress pads and a heater so it was really warm even in the cold nights.
The way to the resort takes about 3 hours from KTM and much of it is really bad and bumpy especially the part nearest to the farm (last half an hour or so) is very steep and rough - we asked the property for a transfer which seems the best solution because the driver is familiar with the way (a side note - according to the driver there's apparently an even worse road from KTM which is included in the transfer cost but to take the "better" road I've described above costs 2000 NPR more because it is longer).
The solar water heater is not very effective, and the water in the evenings was lukewarm at best so the only time for a proper shower is morning.
Sometimes the electricity (and WIFI) was out in the mornings but not for very long.
Also, we didn't really mind but the WIFI is only enough for browsing/messaging but not for movies/videos.

L'équipe était très serviable et le coordinateur (qui est sur Kathmandu) nous a accompagné depuis l'arrivée jusqu'à notre départ à l'aéroport.
Il y a avait un suivi quotidien sur la qualité du service. Nous avons eu un problème avec notre salle de bain et ils nous ont tout de suite changé de chambre pour éviter le désagrément.
Il y avait des activités pour les enfants. Le spectacle du soleit levant, et du soleil couchant était éblouissant.
Le coordinateur nous a informé qu'il fallait des jeeps pour y aller, mais la durée et l'état de la route nous a tout de même surpris, surtout qu'il y avait des gens qui ne supportaient pas trop les voitures.
A notre retour, nous avons demandé à ce que les voitures aillent plus lentement pour réduire des secousses et ils nous ont vraiment aidé dans ce sens. Le trajet a pris 15 min de plus mais c'était plus confortable.

Stunning place, lovely food and people.
The road is terrible! Do not go unless you have a 4x4, especially if it has rained. Even then the journey left us really stressed. Also we were in the room next to the restaurant which was noisy from guests

This is a wonderful place to spend a few days in a lovely peaceful location. The units of accommodation are scattered over a hillside surrounded by the organic farm belonging to the resort. In the mornings the area is filled with birdsong.
The room although rather on the small side had everything you needed. Plenty of electrical plugs and a heater for the cold weather plus an electric blanket. There was a pleasant balcony from which to enjoy the views of the farm and the mountains, weather permitting!!
The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
We had two evening meals there which were delicious as was the breakfast on day one.
I would highly recommend this resort to anyone.
Access to the resort does need a vehicle with high clearance.
Only minor things really. In the mornings the water in the shower was barely tepid but by lunchtime it was really good and hot.
On the second morning more guests were staying at the resort so we were provided with a buffet breakfast. This was surprisingly disappointing compared to the really good a la carte experience the day before. You have a very good chef. Let him/her cook a la carte.....so much better!!
