A unique experience as part of my husbands ‘big’ birthday. The helicopter was bigger than anticipated with a really comfy bed and well thought out attached annex. My husband loved the authenticity of the helicopter together with the folder of its history. Great breakfast each morning served in the farmhouse by friendly hosts.

Our hosts Mike and Caroline went above and beyond to make our experience special. The helicopter was such a unique and incredible overnight stay. The bed was comfortable, it was clean and well kept. The private shower block was great, and breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast was ok.
The helicopter bed is quite restrictive and my friend found it too claustrophobic and spent the entire night on an uncomfortable chair in the windy attached awning.
However, we knew that it was small when we booked it, it is a helicopter after all!
If the helicopter had a shed or conservatory attached with proper doors and windows and a proper floor and furniture, instead of an ill fitting flapping tent then it would be a fun experience. Unfortunately for us on a windy and cold night it wasn’t.
