Beautiful, bucolic setting, private patio, convenient parking close to the front door for ease of unpacking/packing. Home baked "treats" from the honesty box at the bottom of the drive, fresh eggs from the farm opposite. Our every need was catered for!

Where to start? From booking onwards, Mel was AMAZING. Nothing was too much. And the Annexe itself? Wow. Completely blew me away. Bright, airy, yet really cosy with all the home touches you’d want to properly chill and relax. All the little touches from suggested walking tours and maps, the fresh treats and food for breakfast, takeaway menus. Amazing. 10/10. Would recommend wholeheartedly - and will be staying again.
What was the downside? Only one… I had to leave!

Before we even arrived, Mel was accommodating and friendly via message. In person, she was just as warm and welcoming.
The location is gorgeous and the house is full of local information, maps and suggestions to help you make the most of your stay. The annexe is incredibly clean and stocked with everything you need in the bathroom and kitchen (including some bonus breakfast treats!). It really felt like a home from home and I couldn't fault it. Everything had been thought of, even down to some hi-vis accessories for walking down dark country roads.
Sadly we were only staying to attend a wedding nearby, but I hope to come back and make the most of the local walks and wildlife!
Nothing! It's a perfect little place for a short stay.

Very good communication before we went. Wonderful welcome from Mel together with a tour of the accommodation. Cake to welcome us! Ice in the freezer and beers in the fridge!The Annexe is very well equipped and everything to the highest standards. Air conditioning was very welcome. There's a pleasant and very private patio area where you can sit outside. The location is good - very rural and yet so many places of interest within easy reach.
Having to leave and go home!
