This magical property is in an old historic building that has survived earthquakes and other natural disasters. It has been restored and beautifully retrofitted. The stairs to the lost were something out of Alice in Wonderland.
The beds were remarkably comfortable. The towels for the bathroom were very nice. They had a beautiful SMEG refrigerator/freezer in our room.
The hospitality from Maria and her husband was very true to the Greek ethos. I really felt like I was at home.

The hotel has been beautifully restored with parts of the heritage of the old building on display in each room. The self contained room we stayed in was big, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. It was unfortunately only an overnight stay so we didn’t get to see very much of Patra. It needed a longer stay to take in all off its sights and beautiful beaches. The hotel has a cafe attached to it where breakfast was served by a wonderful, friendly host. There was a range of varying menu’s to choose from and the food served was delicious. We would definitely stay at Eramai again!
The street noise of an evening could be quite loud at times.

Great location, within walking distance of the city centre. Check-in was smooth, the staff were friendly and flexible with the payment when our online transaction did not go through. The room was beautiful, spacious and stylish, with great design and tasteful furniture.
Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing, especially considering the price for one night.
The biggest issue was the breakfast policy. Although our booking was for 2 adults and a 2-year-old child, breakfast was only included for the adults because the room was classified as a double. We found this particularly disappointing and a clear lack of flexibility and empathy towards families — applying the same breakfast policy to a 2-year-old child as to an adult feels like a significant policy deficiency.
Breakfast itself was also restrictive, with a fixed time slot and set menu, offering limited flexibility and a rather basic selection.
The room had limited natural light, a humidity smell and an extremely wet, slippery floor upon arrival, which was particularly concerning with a young child. Parking was also difficult.
Overall, the hotel has a beautiful room and great location, but these issues made the stay poor value for the price paid.
