We loved the location just a few minutes to Pigalle metro and lots of easy access to to buses which we used more as Pigalle station does not have lifts and only has ecalators coming up from one line. There is a largish Carrefour about 10 minutes walk and a Carrefour city a couple of minutes away. Lots of bars and restaurants open even in August. The apartment was good basic but suitable for two people. It had a hotplate, a microwave, dishwasher and air con (which was fabulous as it was so so hot when we were there). We requested a toaster and a hairdryer as they were not in the apartment. The apartment was pretty quiet as we were on 5th floor the street noise was OK apart from when the garbage trucks came! The team at Joivy were very responsive to requests. All in all we were very happy with the apartment
The courtyard was disappointing we thought people might gather there for drinks or food, and we might meet some people but that never happened. We were on the 5th floor and the lift broke down on a Friday and was not fixed until the Tuesday so that was horrible but these things happen. There was no spare linen in the apartment so if you washed your bedding you had to get it dried same day although when we requested spares they were delivered by the Joivy team. It was difficult to access the apartment itself with some stupid app link and the same issue on leaving, although on sending a message it was sorted quickly. It would help to have more consistent kitchen stuff ie there was NO bottle opener and all wines were corks! Inconsistent numbers of plates and cups/mugs, glasses etc so we were constantly having to wash stuff up,

Everything is fine with the studio itself.
The building's elevator has been out of order for a month, and there seems to be no hope of repair. Considering the laundry room is located on the ground floor, it's extremely tiring to walk from the upper floors down and back several times a day. Carrying heavy bags up is equally tiring.
Unfortunately, everyone in the building is a short-term tenant, so sometimes you have bad luck with your neighbors.
