About this cabin rental

Located in McQueeney, this lovely cabin for $158 per night is a great option for your next vacation. 10% discount for weekly stays..... (Check In is at 9am and Check Out is at 4 pm.) We want you to be able to enjoy more vacation time on your check in and check out days. Come sit on the 400 SF dock of our Sliver Of The River on Lake Placid in Mcqueeney Texas! Fish or Kayak (river is low (no jumping off of dock) for dam repairs but we have added a ladder for access to swim and cleared vegetation so there is kayak access under the dock) or just snooze in the hammock. Large park like yard for kids/dogs to run around. Have dinner with a beautiful view of the river from the picnic table after you cook on the charcoal BBQ pit. We are located 35 miles from the River Walk in San Antonio and 62 miles from Austin. ( Slope down to the river is rather steep and may challenge some folks walking back up.)

Lovely small cabin with peaceful lake/riverside access. We enjoyed fishing with our 4 yr. old granddaughter and making great memories.

Place was really relaxing , clean and cute. The only downside was the train rail in front of the house. There was a vagón in front of the house when we arrived , kind of noisy and disturbing . Hopefully after that we didn’t see it anymore . Hard to find the house though, there is not number , had to look for the picture of the house posted . Good communication with the owner 😉

We had an awesome time. Very nice place. Fishing and riding kayaks was peaceful. Grilled out and had a great time. Awesome pier to fish off of or jump in to swim. A lot to do here. Everything you needed or wanted was there. Want to come back again soon. We travel frequently in the summer and the kids want to come back and said this was their favorite place. Love this place.

Property was very clean, well taken care of, nicely decorated, and a great place to stay the weekend at for my family and I. We enjoyed every second of our stay and would recommend this property to everyone looking for a quiet, beautiful stay.

We loved our stay at this little cabin. It was perfect for our small family. Very clean and peaceful. It was close to all activities we had planned. Our dog, Chase, said it was the best vacation he ever had! We had one question before we left and owner was very responsive. We hope to return soon!

Perfectly clean little cabin over looking the river. Great views even with the water down. Great porch. Owners thought of everything you could need. Was only 20 minutes from the Comal. New appliances. Big grill. Smart TV.

We stayed at this little cabin for our anniversary with our baby in tow. It was perfect. So peaceful, so cute and clean. We loved how beautiful the property was and used the grill to make a wonderful steak dinner. The hosts were so thoughtful and had nice little touches throughout the cabin. We will definitely stay here again!

Our stay was perfect. The pictures posted are exactly what you get! It was the perfect spot for what we had planned! The house had everything someone was to need on there stay as well. We will definitely be booking again in the future
