Situated in Current River, this lovely house for $329 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Welcome to "John and Mary's Place" a completely new renovated house with views of the Spring River! Escape and unwind in our modern cozy farmhouse-style home that will easily sleep 12 of your favorite people! Large front porch, 3 smart TVs, coffee bar, game room, pool table, and fireplace! John and Mary's Place is centrally located just a few blocks from the main street, restaurants, and shops. Within walking distance to Lasseter Access a great location for fishing, swimming, or floating! This home is perfect for both gathering family and friends or enjoying a private and romantic getaway. On the main level, there is a large master bedroom with an attached full bath access to large patio doors to the front deck and an additional two bedrooms with a full bath and half bath. Downstairs, there are two queen beds second and third full-size baths, and a family room. There are ceiling fans in every bedroom and portable stand fans. The large family room features stylish farmhouse decor and a large picture window (+ views!), and plenty of comfortable seating. The floor plan is open and perfect for enjoying each other's company. The well-outfitted kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a well-stocked kitchen, a coffee bar, and a large kitchen island for entertaining. The eat-in dining area table can seat 3, and additional seating for 4 at the bar. The large basement has a pool table, large sofas, a gas fireplace, a TV, and additional games. There is a gas grill off of the family/dining areas to extend your living space outdoors. - We provide a starter kit of toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, and lotion. You may need to buy more. - We do provide firewood for the fire pit and fireplace as well as propane for the upper deck grill.

Our stay in this home has landed my son in the hospital for the past week in ICU. I also had to go to the hospital for back pain. It was a total NIGHTMARE. I was so excited to stay in this home. The pictures are beautiful. Looks are so deceiving in this case. We got there an found mouse poop everywhere. Daily. There so many mice that we had to kill three ourselves and one got stuck in a trap. We reached out to let the owners know & they tried to lie and say they had no idea mice were an issue. The home manager is a total quack. She denied it all. Even though we texted her pictures and videos even. The mice were just one thing. We gave our kids a bath and the entire tub leaked all the water down in the basement. I went down there and slipped on the concrete floor. Hurt my hip and damaged my back. I even hit my head. It was awful. The second to last night, my son woke up with mouse poop on his pillow & his face was swollen shut. We tried to find another place to stay after the second night of a mouse squealing all night in a trap that we couldn’t find. But this is a small town with nothing to rent & our kids had to go to school. They claimed they could have let us stay somewhere else they owned, but they never offered. They just dismissed us. The owner came to just set more traps even though tons were in every nook and cranny of the place yet they had no idea mice were an issue. We are pressing charges at this point and petitioning the court to go full force with a lawsuit.

The house looked new inside and porches looked new also. It is a great property. The house is close to fishing and close to town & restaurants. We had a great country vacation.

We had a great stay here! Enjoyed the pool table downstairs in the evening and the house had everything we needed! Very quite location and peaceful setting as well! Highly recommend if your looking to stay in the area!

If you are considering booking this stay just do it! This stay had everything we needed. The home was very clean and everything was easy to find or use. Also the location is perfect. Only a couple minute drive to downtown to restaurant or stores. The other guest and I had plenty of room and never felt like we were on top of each other. The host communicated very well and answered any questions I had!
