I had an excellent stay at Upperton Rd. The staff were very courteous and friendly, and I had no trouble checking in and getting the keys from them. I arrived early and since the apartment was ready, they let me in right away. They proved available to respond to any questions or requests throughout, coming to the apartment to check the microwave and ensure a proper chair was delivered to the room. The room was comfortable - decent kitchen area with lot of cooking utensils and dishes plus a microwave and hob, and a large fridge/freezer. There was lots of storage space for food and other kitchen items. The bathroom was clean and spacious and the shower worked perfectly throughout. The bed was comfortable, and there was lots of storage space for clothes etc. The desk area was comfortable and had a lot of plugs for electronic equipment. The WIFI worked well throughout the stay. There was an excellent gym and study area on site for use by the guests. All-in-all a very good stay and good value for money.
Not the concern of the staff but with the heat wave the room was very, very hot - especially during the day. There should be some way to open the window wider to ensure more of the breeze gets in and moves the hot air around.

Perfect little studio flat. Everything worked very well, clean and quiet. Has it's own little gym (basic but works) is above an Aldi and opposite a starbucks. Tesco close by too and on the main bus routes to town. Has secure bicycle parking indoors in the building. Good WiFi.
Comfortable double bed, large desk space, decent fridge and kitchenette. Perfect for a Woking week away! I am a single woman travelling in her own and I felt very safe. There is security walking around and available all night from what I saw.
As it is student housing it is very basic. Nothing wrong with that but don't expect an Airbnb! I was missing a desk chair and one of the pans was unusable but these things didn't bother me as I was out for work most the time.
The only thing is the windows are on security latches and don't open all the way. They are floor to ceiling (lovely) but if you're on the sun side like I was then the room just bakes all day. Especially in the morning! So I had to keep my curtains closed most the time. A fan would help but it still felt a bit stuffy.

Ample facilities such as
Gym, Communal Kitchen & Dining and a reception to borrow DVDs, Games and a TV.
Vacuum Cleaner was the only cleaning tool that was provided, which will be only given when you show your ID (which isn’t the problem). But the lack of usable tools to clean up is a bummer.
And I had a problem with the key not opening up my room and I had to wait until next day of my check-in to resolve it.
