The house was lovely and the little yard with firepit and chairs were great to enjoy the outdoors. The house is beautifully furnished and the sauna is a real bonus. Lots of space for all.

Nice property as pictured convenient to the town of Stowe and the ski mountain. Owner was responsive to requests.

There is one major flaw with the property . The water has tons of copper and the pressure isn't very good. All the toilets which don't seem to be very old have terrible staining from the water.

The proximity to the town and mountains. Comfy beds. Good coffee selection.
I did not like the fact that there was no water and at first the host said it wasn’t going to get fixed for 1-2 days. So 1-2 days with out showering and flushing toilets ??? Unacceptable. It should of been fixed right away. Plus we were only there for 3 days total. The first night should be refunded due to the inconvenience. We had to melt ice to flush the toilets. You can’t expect 6 people to be In a house with out water. Specially when you are paying for a short term rental. The water was re stored by mid morning the next day.
Furthermore, either the boiler or something else makes a clunking noise when it turns on. That noise is REALLY loud in the first floor bedroom and it is impossible to sleep. I had to buy ear plugs to tolerate it.
Also host should of had somebody clean the drive way and front pathway of snow before and while we were there.
