We hired the 3bedroom , 2 bathroom apartment on the 2nd floor . Maria Luisa , the hostess/owner met us at the door and showed us around the apartment . She gave us an abundance of tips on everything from parking , eating , crossing the lake and trips to do . Paulo , her son , sent us lots of additional information within half an hour after Maria left which was brilliant . After exploring the apartment , which is huge , we sat on the balcony looking at the fantastic view over the lake to Stresa , we appreciated just how very lucky we were to be staying there . It was certainly well worth the amount we paid to stay and have already spoken to several friends and given them the information with the recommendation from us to check it out . We hope they do !! Thank you Maria and Paulo for a fantastic stay , we will definitely be back XXX
