Perfectly located holiday retreat.

Very clean. Great location. Host really responsive when we asked for extra towels. Beautiful kitchen and bathroom.

The mattress on the Queen size bed sank at one side.

Very disappointed, especially with the $150 'extras' charge for one night.

Location

Main room ceiling fan was inoperable. The main bedroom curtains drag on the ground and are a trip hazard. The curtain rod was sticky-taped together and fell apart. The lounge furniture is too low. If you have shonky hips or knees they might explode as you go to stand. The single seater is built for a giant rather than being a normal lounge chair, you can get buried in it and not be able to get up. The main bed 'decorations' are over the top, there's nowhere to place them all, except on the lounge outside the bedroom. What is most egregious, is the $100 'cleaning fee' to flip the room for one night AND $50 for linen. There were no towels in bedroom 2. Road traffic is a bit of a shocker - The Esplanande is a drag strip for tradies from 05:30 am. The extra charges were not well visible when booking; the $175 apartment is a bait and switch tactic.

The place was clean and tidy, nicely renovated and had everything we could possibly need. Directions from the owners were easy and clear. Located right across from a beautiful, quiet beach and close to plenty of food options.
