The gate going in and out, the breakfast was good, the staff were excellent, the room was clean
Smelled strongly of cigarettes, when checking in staff late at night was smoking in the front. Halls smelled strongly of cigarettes

The area it is in is a little sketchy but the hotel is fenced in with a security gate that can only be accessed by guests with a room key. I felt perfectly safe walking my dog around the property, even in the dark! It was well lit all the way around. The whole place was clean, comfortable and quiet. I travel through Dallas for work and often stay overnight. I will definitely stay here again!

It was close to UTSW
The staff had failed to clear the-main entrance of the ice that had accumulated during the bad weather making it unsafe to walk. Front Desk even commented that he had almost fell on the ice. Nothing was done to improve the situation during our 3 days stay.
