This property is the ideal base for history buffs, who can experience the Norman landing beaches used by the Allies during World War II, such as Utah Beach and the beach at Sainte-Mère-Église. The charming fishing village of Barfleur also tells a bloody story with its famous naval battle. Cherbourg boasts a maritime museum and a harbor overlooking the popular artificial roadstead. On the other side of the peninsula, you can cross to the Anglo-Norman islands of Jersey and Guernesey.
