Explore the picturesque villages of the Cinque Terre, head to Riomaggiore and stroll along the ‘Path of Love’ all the way to Manarola. Discover the coastal landscape near Corniglia with its expansive beach, or, during the Christmas season, marvel at the impressive, illuminated nativity scene in the vineyards of Manarola. Be sure to visit La Spezia too, with its lively old town, beautiful seafront promenade and large harbour. The city is also an excellent base for excursions along the Ligurian coast. You can also take trips to Forte dei Marmi or find inspiration in the artists’ town of Pietrasanta.
