About this house rental
Stunning home in Sandhem with sauna
This spacious holiday home is situated on the outskirts of Sandhem in Västergötland, in a secluded, peaceful location by a private lake with a jetty and a boat. Right on the shore, there is also a raft and a guest house with two beds and an open-plan fireplace. From the balcony, you can enjoy the view across the lake.
The inviting main house features a bath and two large bathrooms. A pool table and a table football table are perfect for friendly competitions. There are also two televisions, measuring 65 and 46 inches. The kitchen is fully equipped and features two hobs. The terrace in front of the house offers sweeping panoramic views. Make yourself comfortable on one of the sun loungers and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Upstairs, you’ll find a wood-burning stove and a large balcony. The garden features a hot tub for seven to eight people and a sauna house.
There is plenty to discover in the surrounding area, including the Axtorpssunhuset and Sägnernas Hus museums, Knaggebo, the Mullsjö Alpin ski resort and a canoe centre 10.5 km away. A shop and a pizzeria are just five minutes away.
The house offers flexible sleeping arrangements. The friendly owner will welcome you personally and explain the house and its facilities. This is a wonderful setting for several generations to enjoy a holiday together.
For day trips, there’s the Ålleberg Aviation Museum, the historic village of Åsle, Liseberg amusement park in Gothenburg and Skara Sommarland, with activities for the whole family. Other destinations include the water park at Arena Skövde, the Leo’s Lekland indoor playground, the A6 shopping centre and Rosenlundsbadet in Jönköping. You can also explore Gunillaberg in Bottnaryd with its landscape architecture, the candy cane factories in Gränna and the moose park in Falköping.
