The hotel has a pool which was really refreshing after a hot day of sightseeing. The room was adequate for a short stay and the staff were helpful and friendly. Good place to stay to visit Tuscany around Siena and Florence. Air conditioning worked well. The room had a terrace with a table and chairs and there is a restaurant on site .
The bathroom could do with an upgrade but it was clean and spacious.

It had fabulous views, clean, efficiently run, staff were accommodating, helpful, pleasant.
This lovely hotel was superb, we also would highly recommend the restaurant for dinner it was excellent!
The information on the website about how far it is from the city walls is accurate, however the 2 km walk is all uphill, on a busy road, with no pavement and in 90 degrees from 9-9 is not a walk you can comfortably do to go to dinner/ lunch/sightsee. If you are happy waiting on a bus, it’s literally on the doorstep. Fortunately we hired a car last minute, as we had been to Tuscany before and realised a 2 km walk sounds possible, but not easy, not a criticism, just a footnote!!

Location is good despite being on a main road. Facilities are good, the pool is sweet and the restaurant next door is excellent.

Easy to walk into San Ginignamo, 40 mins and uphill but very pleasant
It is quite isolated on a main road, no shops or bars close by

"I like that it was a few minutes outside of San Gimignano. Obviously this meant paying for parking, which was reasonable. Arrive early to secure parking on Lot 1&2.
