Louviers (34 km) with the Église Notre-Dame and the Convent Saint-Louis is worth a visit, as is the Château Gaillard (44 km). This partially destroyed medieval fortress near Les Andelys was built by Richard the Lionheart and now houses a museum about river navigation. For art lovers, Giverny (66 km) is a must. Visit there the house of Claude Monet with the beautiful garden that served as a great source of inspiration for this famous painter.
