We stayed at Agape Rose for two nights, and everything was wonderful. The hotel was spacious, and having direct access to the pool from our room was a major plus. Although breakfast was not included, it was absolutely worth paying for, with a delicious selection of fresh pastries, crepes, and other tasty options.
The receptionist was extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. The drive to the hotel was beautiful, with Instagram-worthy views even in the evening. We also appreciated that our sheets and towels were changed despite staying for only two nights.
The location was convenient, with access to a public beach, a small supermarket, and three restaurants within a 10-minute walk.
The only downside was that our room was directly beneath the dining area, so we could hear chairs being moved throughout the day. Also, the stairs to reception definitely provided the cardio of the day; but overall, we had a fantastic stay!

Clean, overlooking the sea, lovely rooms, located in a very quaint old fishing village
210 steep steps from seafront to our room. We weren’t prepared for so many.. though we knew the village was a bit hilly. Expected tea/coffee sachets in room on arrival after long day travelling to make a cuppa. Didn’t expect to pay extra again for coffee when paying extra for continental breakfast anyway.

Location excellent.
Breakfast was ok but not great. Firstly reception said there was only food to order and not a buffet but there was a buffet. Secondly the breakfast was as average - no milk or yogurt for the cereal / oats, we didn’t get offered a coffee and generally service was poor, fruit was limited despite Montenegro having fantastic choice, hot food was limited. Definitely a below average breakfast and not in keeping with the hotel generally.

The view was nice.
- Breakfast was mediocre at best.
- Water from the shower went all over the bathroom, light fixtures were not attached properly, things broke down in the bathroom, and the finishing was not very good.
- It is a long walk down rickety steps to the waterfront.
- Parking facilities were outside the property on the side of the road.
