Everything, absolutely perfect for a short stay. Host was friendly and most helpful in recommendations for places to dine ( although we could have very easily cooked in the studio, as it was well equipped and modern. )

It was really lovely and very comfortable. It was the best garage conversion I’ve ever seen
There were no views due to it being a garage conversion on the owners property but it was still bright

The Thistles was small but perfectly formed, it was warm clean and cosy and the owners were friendly and welcoming. The best thing though was its location, it was literally 10 minutes away from caythorpe which is where my son and his family live.
There wasn't anything we didn't like it was all good.

Claypole is such a delightful village, so quiet and peaceful.
The Thistles is an ideal location for us who visit Balderton on a regular basis. We'll be coming back, for sure!
