Lovely peaceful location in the northern lakes. Facilities were great for cooking our meals. TV had normal channels. A outside area to sit in the evenings. The sun was out until late.

The lodge is very comfortable and well equipped. the host left us a welcome pack which was very much appreciated.
Itis quite remote and therefore you need to have a car, with no shops nearby and difficult to get in the local pubs to eat if you try to turn up on spec, although it was bank holiday weekend that we arrived, so may be easier at other times. My suggestion is that you do a bit of research first and try to book somewhere if you want an evening meal out.
