Wir verbrachten eine sehr schöne Woche im Flat Cap Cottage. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Sehr weiche Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Es liegt sehr zentral im Ort, die Geschäfte sind fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen. Genauso wie verschiedene Pubs, trotzdem ist es wunderbar ruhig. Aus dem kleineren Schlafzimmer hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf die umliegenden Hügel.
Der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus und die Waschmaschine mit dem kombinierten Trockner sind ein großer Pluspunkt. Skipton ist ein wunderbarer Ausgangsort für diverse Ausflüge, sogar bis nach Liverpool oder natürlich in die Dales.
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden das Haus wieder buchen.
Es wäre hilfreich, wenn etwas mehr Geschirr und Besteck da wäre. Bei 4 Leuten muss die Spülmaschine recht häufig laufen. Insgesamt aber kein großes Problem.

The property was clean and had practically everything we needed. It was set in an ideal location to explore everything Skipton had to offer. The private parking space was a bonus. We were also made to feel very welcome on our arrival with a card and some treats. Neighbours were friendly and happy to offer advice on places to go in the town. I would highly recommend.
The only thing I could mention was the fact the it was not possible to access normal TV channels on the TV. However this was not a problem as we were not there to watch TV. A radio would have been nice.

Beautiful cottage in the perfect location, we loved our stay and were very comfortable staying here as a family of four including two young children. Amenities at close hand, the cottage was everything we wanted for a week visiting extended family and friends.
