The facilities were fantastic. Emma and James helped us to settle in and lit a fire for us. The barn is beautiful and extremely clean and well equipped.

We had a lovely stay at this property. Communication with the host, Emma, prior to and during our stay was great. The property is in a very pretty location. We loved the pool and outdoor area. The cottage itself was beautifully furnished, very homely and cosy and had everything we needed. The kids loved the games room upstairs.
Difficult to find any negatives but if I had to mention one, it would be the size of the basin in the downstairs bathroom. The shower and toilet were fine to use but the basin was very small, only big enough to wash your hands. We used the upstairs one for everything else. But no hardship really, the other lovely features outweighed this.

Beautifully presented and clean. Excellent ground floor facilities if mobility is an issue including bedroom and ensuite.
Location is rural yet only 5mins away from local shop and is amongst other properties selling fresh eggs etc.
Heated swimming pool which was clean and a beautiful little diamond of a wood-fired sauna tucked away discretely.
The upstairs had large 2 x bedrooms, one ensuite with shower. A main bathroom with bath. And a games room between them with lots of games, DVDs. Also lovely books to browse through and such wonderful views.
All beds were very comfortable.
There was nothing we "didn't" like. Just a note that to get to the swimming pool and sauna will be difficult if mobility issues due to steps. Possible alternative but a little hilly. However that is just a note for anyone with limited mobility. None-the-less, none of us wanted to leave - it was fabulous!

Pretty property in a beautiful location with lovely hosts. Use of the swimming pool was our primary reason for choice and was certainly a wonderful addition to our stay given the weather!
Some items of equipment etc need attention/to be replaced and are things that the cleaner may not notice, so recommend periodic/routine owner checks are carried out.
