It was great having 2 bathrooms and another extra bedroom to spread stuff out. WiFi/TV was good. Bed (queen) was comfortable with excellent bedding. Plenty of hot water. Wooden shutters over bedroom doors and window kept the room dark and quiet enough (until construction across the street kicked off at 7). Good Couch for TV watching, and I was happy there were no TVs in the bedroom (in case upstairs people were all night watchers). Easy to walk the beach, to restaurants, and the bus stop into town. Good comms with the host. Push button entry was great.
Kitchen is cozy, but serviceable. A couple of pots were put back in the cupboard dirty. Parking is in the street, so we had to drive a bit further a couple of times, but no more than a couple of blocks. No dryer.

The location close to the beach was the drawcard. I liked the easy access. I liked having a washing machine, the use of a clothes rack and a clothes line, and a car park. The unit was a decent size and convenient. It was clean and I liked that when my friend visited he could bring his dog. I liked that there were books. There were good supplies of toiletries and washing liquid and laundry detergent. I enjoyed the outdoor sitting area down the side of the house. I was glad I could get a reduced nightly price for a long term stay of one month.
Speaking from a long stay visitor point of view keen on an accessible, home away from home experience, there could have been a better range of kitchen utensils. I did not enjoy the convection cook top and there were no oven dishes to bake in. The former bathroom floor slope had not been corrected before fitting the kitchenette into it. I found I was losing my footing. Having a vacuum cleaner to use during a long stay would have been good. Although the bathroom was accessible,
a non slip mat hand rails in the shower and next to the toilet would have improved the accessible experience for me. I felt some of the furnishing needs refreshing. The dining table was wobbly and its legs need some attention. There were way too many plastic flowers. The outdoor area at the front could be improved with a outdoor table and chair. When people booked the upstairs apartment I realised how thin the walls were and how much noise I could hear from the other unit.
